Reprezentacija Islanda, nastavila je da prevazilazi sva očekivanja. Savladana je Engleska rezultatom od 2:1. Srčani Islanđani, nadoknadili su zaostatak od jednog gola i ostvarili cilj plasmana u četvrtfinale.

Up until a month ago, very few people knew of the Iceland National Team. Tonight, they beat England, moving into the quarterfinals of the Eurocup. The team which is not worth millions, whose players have regular jobs and an occasional extra consonant in their last names, has brought up millions of fans around the world to enjoy the victory of sport, above everything else. The final result was 2:1. After the shocking result, Hodgson resigned as England’s manager.

The 170th encounter between Manchester United and Manchester City ends at 0-0. After 93 minutes of play, and an occasional good opportunity for the home team, no goals were seen at Old Trafford. A disappointing ending, for what was supposed to be a real spectacle for fans around the globe. Despite the zeros on the monitor, City goes onto being the EPL leader for the week. While the fans go and take a nap.

The fact that Jürgen Klopp, the amazing German football expert, who has done wonders in the past years with Borussia Dortmund, and has changed teams is old news. His signing to Liverpool  became a sensation to all of the fans of the “other Reds”, as well as the media.

Klopp has stated many times in these past days, how happy he was to become Liverpool’s new manager, hoping he would be able to change the squad’s tactics and get the Scousers into a winning streak. But from all of the interviews, questions and answers, the following image is what best sums up his enthusiasm for finally being at Anfield.

Fudbalski dresovi su izvor beskrajnog ponosa miliona, ogledalo boja tima, klupskih vrednosti, te ljudi koji ih nose. Od kada je profesionalnog fudbala, dres je mnogo više, od obične majice. Razdvajao je sportske heroje od običnog sveta, bio simbol pripadnosti, tradicije.

Uz promenu strukture, ide i standardna promena dizajna, kojom klub obeležava svoj deo tržišta. Fanovi širom sveta se mesecima unapred raduju novim garniturama, uprkos znanju da neće biti nimalo jeftine. Ipak je dres svetinja za milione. Ali uvek će se naći ekipa, koja će pristup dizajniranju opreme preneti na sasvim novi nivo. Samim tim se javljaju dresovi koji su neobični, nerazumljivi ili prosto ružni.
