Prijateljska utakmica dobrotvornog karaktera, bila je namenjena skupljanju novca za izgradnju dečjeg odeljenja za onkologiju u Nišu. Lepa atmosfera na terenu i mnoštvo golova, donekle su bili umanjeni slabijim odzivom publike. Fudbaleri, s druge strane, su prikazali da klasa zaista jeste večna.

Crvena zvezda savladala je Partizan u jubilarnom 150. Večitom derbiju, rezultatom 2:1. Pred punim stadionom JNA, crveno-beli su došli do rekordne prednosti na tabeli od čak 68 poena, čak 32 više od večitog rivala.
