Doskorašnji košarkaš Crvene zvezde i reprezentativac Srbije, Nikola Kalinić, definitivno će karijeru nastaviti u turskom Fenerbahčeu. Transfer je zvanično potvrđen juče, u iznosu od rekordnih milion evra.

Klub su do sada napustili Boban Marjanović, Čarls Dženkins, Markus Vilijams, dok je više mladih igrača kluba otišlo na domaće pozajmice.

Očekuje se da će najtalentovaniji igrači Zvezdine omladinske škole dobiti zasluženu šansu u prvom timu. Korak koji bi bio veoma važan u daljem uspostavljanju klupske strukture i razvoj mladih igrača kroz različite kategorije kluba.

Now former player of Crvena zvezda and an important member of the Serbian National basketball Team, Nikola Kalinić will definitely be continuing his career in Fenerbahçe. The Turkish team has decided to pay a record 1 million euros for the Serb.  One of the most expensive European transfers of the year, so far.

It is also expected for the most talented players of  Crvena Zvezda’s  youth academy to get a well deserved chance in the first team. A step which would be very important in the further establishment of the team’s structure and the development of young players through playing in diverse categories.

Na novoj funkciji.

Nekadašnji trener U20 reprezentacije srbije, vođa mladih svetskih prvaka u fudbalu, Veljko Paunović, ostaće deo Fudbalskog saveza Srbije. Ipak, ne kao trener već kao svojevrsni koordinator između Mlade i A-selekcije srpske reprezentacije. Reč je o poziciji kreiranoj u želji da se mladi i uspešni stručnjak zadrži u Savezu, nakon odlaska sa klupe, te iskazane želje da ne preuzme i Mladu reprezentaciju.

Za novog trenera mladih igrača do 21 godine, imenovan je Tomislav Sivić, nekadašnji trener Hajduka iz Kule i Voždovca. Sivić je izabran tokom vanrednog glasanja, i to većinom glasova. U Savezu ističu da novi strateg Mlade selekcije poseduje: “ogromnu energiju i motiv, a u smeru stvaranja nove ekipe i željenih vrhunskih rezultata”. Sivićev prvi test na trenerskoj poziciji biće osmog septembra (8.9.) u Gornjem Milanovcu, protiv selekcije Litvanije.

Veljko Paunović, the former coach of the U20 Serbian National Team, and the current World Champion will be staying as part of the Serbian Football Association. Not as a coach, but as a coordinator between the U21 team, and the A-team. This position was created in order to maintain the young and successful football strategist within the Association, after him refusing to take over the U21, or stay with the next U20 generation.

The new coach of the U21 players was named today, and after an emergency vote, Tomislav Sivić was chosen with a majority of votes. According to the press release by the Football Association, the new coach possesses: “a vast energy and motives to create a new team and the desired excellent results”.

His first test comes on September 8th, as the U21 start their new qualifying cycle, against Lithuania.

Vaterpolo reprezentacija Srbije ostvarila je prvu pobedu na Svetskom prvenstvu u Kazanju, rezultatom 11-8.

Delfini su u premijernom meču D grupe “potopili” Crnu Goru, jednog od najvećih konkurenata za osvajanje svetske titule. Igrači selektora Dejana Savića pokazali su stabilnost i odlučnost tokom čitave utakmice, uz iskorišćavanje prilika sa igračem više.

Naredna utakmica Srbiju čeka 29. jula, protiv selekcije Japana, dok ih dva dana kasnije očekuje susret sa Australijom.

The Serbian water polo team has won in their first match in this year’s World Championship, as part of the group D,  against one of their biggest competitors, Montenegro.

The Dolphins won by 11-8 in a game where they showcased stability and determination, as well as the capacity to take advantage of the “extra man” situation in the offensive. 

Serbia’s next game will be on June 29th, against Japan, while they will be playing against Australia on the 31st.

Nakon izjava da je povređen igrao u finalu Plejofa domaće lige, novi centar San Antonio Sparsa, Boban Marjanović, moraće da se hitno uputi u Sjedinjene Države na dodatne preglede. Uprkos činjenici da je već prošao sve neophodne preglede u okviru priprema za predstojeće Evropsko prvenstvo, čelici američkog giganta zahtevaju i njegovo neigranje tokom najmanje mesec dana, što svakako ugrožava planove reprezentacije.

Selektor reprezentacije Srbije, Aleksandar Đorđević, oglasio se povodom situacije koja je neporedivo nepovoljna po Orlove: “Ne znаmo nа osnovu čegа je došаo tаj zаhtev jer je sа Mаrjаnovićem, ponаvljаm, sve u nаjboljem redu. U pitаnju nije viša silа, nego silа. To je аpsolutno nešto više od košаrke, nešto nа štа ne možemo dа utičemo. Ostаje još sаmo dа se glаsno zаpitаmo, uz veliku dozu gorčine, zbog čegа je bаš u ovom trenutku došlа izjаvа strаnog trenerа koji nemа bаš nikаkve veze sа nаšom reprezentаcijom. Osim kаo protivnik. Dа li je moždа instruisаn od nekogа ko bi imаo korist od svegа ovogа, kаko sportsku, tаko i finаnsijsku. Postoji velikа sumnjа i rаzočаrаnje koje nije prvo ni poslednje posle svegа što se desilo. U svаkom slučаju nаnetа je štetа interesimа srpske košаrke, reprezentаciji kаo i sаmom Bobаnu Mаrjаnoviću”.

Sprska reprezentacija se trenutno nalazi na pripremama u Kranjskoj Gori, odakle su do sada stizale samo pozitivne vesti o učinku i napretku izabranika Saše Đorđevića. U zavisnosti od daljeg razvoja događaja, posledice bi mogle da budu veoma nepovoljne, kako za Nacionalni tim, tako i za samog stamenog centra.

The young Serbian midfielder, and U20 World champion will be signing a contract for one of the most well known teams of the Serie A.  After talks with teams, such as Lazio, it was decided that Fiorentina’s offer was better for the player, who will be signing a five year long contract.

This is an important step for this 20 year-old talent, who has started a successful career in the Serbian Vojvodina, and then went onto the international market during the past summer, in Genk.

He scored 4 goals in 16 appearances for Vojvodina, and 5 goals in 24 games for Genk.

Fiorentina will be playing in the Europa League this season, which will be an important step in the career development of the player. Milinković Savić will also have the support of his future teammates, coming from the former Yugoslavian region, such as Tomović, Rebić, Bakić and Iličić.

The final price of the transfer is still unknown.

According to the sources at Il Messaggero, one of the most well known Serbian players, Nemanja Vidić, won’t be crossing over from Inter, to the neighbouring Roma.

Vidić, now 33 years-old, is the best paid player of the “Nerazzurri”. Despite that fact, he seems ready to leave, due to a supposed conflict with the coach, Roberto Mancini, that has left the former Manchester United captain sitting on the bench, during most of the past season.

The Serb has left the Premier League a legend, hoping to repeat the brilliant plays in Italy. With the season going by, it was obvious that the strong defender would have to look for a spot in the starting 11 some place else.  That fact was confirmed when Vidić wasn’t a part of this year’s Summer tour squad.

As the transfer window reaches its full swing, it’s only a matter of time when we find out the name of the new home for this well known centre-back.
