Kobe says goodbye to his first love

In an emotional open letter posted to the Player’s Tribune, the amazing guard explained as to why he had to leave the court, confirming that this season will in fact be his last, playing basketball.

The sport he fell in love with since childhood, that gave him everything he could ever dream of, will not be seeing him play for much longer, due to the impact it had on his body.

So he decided to leave, on time.

This will undoubtedly be an interesting season, especially for the Serbian New Wave, looking for ways to prove themselves under the brightest of lights. The Chicago born, twenty two year-old, has shown great potential ever since High School, and has spent a decade playing in the States. The first significant team he formed part of, was that of Baylor University, where he was named Freshman of the Year, in his first season.
