All about Messi’s magic

Barcelona has beat their city rival Espanyol, in a derby that was all about Blaugrana. The match was marked by excellent passes in the home team, especially by Iniesta, an injury of Espanyol keeper Diego Lopez, and two great assists for Messi. For a total of 4:1.

Despite almost not scoring tonight, the moves that Leo Messi has shown off at Camp Nou, were ovation worthy, and have increased Barcelona’s advantage by two goals. One of them belonging to Jordi Alba, who scored after two long years of fast in La Liga.

Messi’s activity had to end in a goal. Eventually, Suarez assisted (89′), in that final goal, very well deserved for the Argentinian player. Right through the legs of 2nd keeper, Jimenez.

The single goal for Espanyol came in 79′ through David Lopez, in a match that terminated their 10 match long series of no defeats. As well as the end of an incredible calendar year for Barcelona, that said goodbye to around 70.000 fans, until the start of 2017.
