Tennis rulers of China

Both Novak Đoković and Jelena Janković have won their  second consecutive finals in China. Two trophies in two weeks for the fantastic Serbs. 

After raising the trophy in Beijing, Đoković has won his third trophy in Shanghai, after being champion in 2012. and 2013.. Without losing a single set, Đoković has beat Tsonga by 2:0 (6:2, 6:4), increasing his point advantage to a record breaking 16. 885 ATP points. His winning streak is now 38-1. An impressive action from World No. 1.

After the victory, Đoković decided to thank the fans in Chinese. One of the ways for him to do so was writing on the camera.

On the other side,Jelena Janković is returning to her well known graces. She has won the WTA title in Hong Kong. Just like Đoković, Jelena has won her second title of the month in China, after reaching the trophy in Guangzhou. Janković’s win today was over Germany’s Angelique Kerber by 2:1 (3:6, 7:6 (7:4), 6:1) in a staple match, full of intense moves and suspense.

This is JJ’s 15th career title, after which she will go up a notch on the WTA list. On Monday, she will become World’s 22nd. An end of another great week for the two amazing players. And much joy for their dedicated fans.
