Serbia’s National Team coach Dejan Savić will be taking over the bench of Crvena zvezda for the second time. This will not disrupt his activities in Team Serbia.
Savić started his coaching career with the red and whites in 2011 right after ending his successful run as a player.
During the season 2012/2013 he lead Zvezda into winning their first Champions League. In what is known as the best season in the club’s more recent history , Zvezda completed a trebble, by winning the National League and Cup, and adding a LEN Supercup to the mix.
Two years later, Savić left the bench in order to fully focus on the National Team.
After completing the Olympic cycle with every gold medal possible, it seems that the award-winning coach is in need of a challenge.
