In the charity Match for the Children, hosted by David Beckham and his fellow football legends, at Old Trafford today, two generations of the Beckhams were on the pitch.
As the match between Great Brittain and The rest of the World was getting to a great close, sixteen year-old Brooklyn Beckham stepped into the game, showing that blood does run thicker than water. Last time these father and son duo were on this playing field together was almost fifteen years ago, when United had won the Premiership.
Today, more than most days, it’s obvious that time flies. As well as that we might have another Beckham to look forward to on the pitches of the world.
