Barcelona were able to pull off an important win in Belgrade against Partizan (78:76), despite the packed Arena showcasing its signature roar.
The Black and Whites played an impressive first half and opening the third quarter with a +10. Lead by Washington (21p), their maximum lead went up to +12. It seemed like the perfect night for all those that support Partizan.
Sadly for the home crowd, the final three minutes were a scale. One side tipped off in favor of Barcelona. Granted, a lot more thanks to individual qualities, rather than any squad-related game plan. Here we point out Shengelia (24p), Clyburn (14p), and Satoransky (11p).
The winning points for the Blaugranas landed from a dozen meters away; Clyburn’s dagger to the hopes of the Belgrade side.
The gruelling schedule continues with Partizan traveling to Dubai for their ABA League match on Monday (17.00), while Barcelona await Murcia in the Endesa Liga, on Sunday (17.00).
