Veljko Paunović u MLS-u
Nekadašnji selektor zlatne generacije srpskih orlića i jedna od ključnih ličnosti za hipotetički preporod domaćeg fudbala Veljko Paunović, dobio je novi posao.
Nakon odlaska sa mesta selektora, te novih zaduženja u Savezu, univerzalno omiljeni “Paun”, će sreću okušati preko okeana. Naime, zvanično je potvrđena vest o njegovom odlasku na klupu američkog fudbalskog kluba Chicago Fire.

Proteklog vikenda, odigrano je svih osam utakmica Jelen superlige. Uz hladno vreme i problematične terene, čak dvadeset golova i samo jedan remi bez pogodaka. Zvezda suverena na tabeli, OFK i Vojvodina uz nove trenere, došli do pobede. Jagodina konačno bolja, i to u gostima.

Zvezda odbacila pobedu
Crveno-beli, ponovo izgubili ubedljivo dobijen meč. Nakon fenomenalnog prvog poluvremena, odličnih serija i akcija koje će bez sumnje biti uvrštene u najlepše poteze kola, izgubili su sa samo tri poena razlike. Konačan rezultat u Strazburu, 78:75, u korist domaćina.

The Serbian Dolphins have won an important match of the Round two on home grounds in Novi Sad, without a few of the standard team members. A mostly young group of players lead by coach Dejan Savić was facing a very strong rival, that was defeated during the final 45 seconds of the game. An encounter definitely worth watching.
As the competition goes on, team Serbia is continuing well in their defense of the World league crown.

Zvezda, od sjaja do očaja
Crveno-beli nisu uspeli da upišu podrazumevanu pobedu u ABA ligi. Uprkos vođstvu u gotovo celom toku meča, Igokea je slavila u beogradskoj Hali Pionir, rezultatom 87:81. Treći poraz za crveno-bele, drugi na domaćem terenu.
Pred oko 3200 gledalaca, među kojima su bili i povređeni kapiten Luka Mitrović, Branko Lazić, Nemanja Dangubić kao i Markus Vilijams, Zvezda porazila samu sebe, dopustivši protivniku veliki broj šuteva za tri poena, uz nepotrebne faulove u napadu. Cirbes je prikupio pet ličnih grešaka, dok je i ostatak centarske linije crveno-belih večeras delovao bezidejno.
