…Hearts show thanks with third kit
Hearts FC, a seemingly small Scottish football team from the Midlothian region, has decided to show thanks to their most loyal supporters. Not that long ago, the club was facing major financial issues, fighting to stay afloat. That was the moment when Anne Budge and associates got involved, forming a foundation whose only goal was to keep the club alive.
The Foundation of Hearts has over 8000 members that have become united over saving their beloved club. Now that the Hearts seem safe, the board has decided to thank them by a special Tribute kit. The third kit of the Scots, now has all the names of paying members printed out on the shirts.
Serbia loses bronze, as Spain reaches gold
Serbia’s National team wasn’t able to recover from their first defeat on the competition. Instead, they lost a chance to win the European bronze, and ended up fourth.
The players of Aleksandar Đorđević lost to France, by 81:86. A lack of initiative and precision, for a less then glorious ending of the Championship. Serbia is now left to compete in one of the qualifying tournaments, for another chance to reach Rio.

Povratak košarkaša na OI / Olympic basketball qualifiers
Prošlo je 11 godina od poslednjeg učešća naših košarkaša na Olimpijskim igrama. Tadašnja država se nije previše proslavila učešćem na OI. Izabranici Željka Obradovića, stigli su samo do jedanaestog mesta. U međuvremenu se propustio Peking i London.
Nešto više od decenije kasnije, jedna nova ekipa će pokušati da to promeni. Tim Aleksandra Đorđevića, vlasnika srebrne olimpijske medalje, iz svoje bogate igračke karijere će u toku narednih godinu dana juriti vizu za Rio . Prestižni olimpijski turnir će biti odigran u avgustu.
Serbia will attempt to reach the Summer Olympics, alongside four European teams, three hosting countries and three more from each of the following zones: Asia, America and Africa, plus one more from Oceania.

After an incredible winning streak, of seven games and as many victories, Serbia has lost. Lithuania was the team to break this amazing score, by a 67-64 win over the Eagles.
The Greens proceed into the final, as Serbia is left to fight for bronze on Sunday against an equally disappointed France. The host intends to end the competition with a medal, while Serbia is looking for at least a third place solace. Nevertheless, the 2016 Olympics will still stay as a hypothetical option for both teams, as only the spot in the final was a guarantee for a trip to Rio.
Gasol takes Spain to the final
After a very week start, Spain continues to pull through even during the final rounds of the Eurobasket. A disputed win over Greece, after which Vassilis Spanoulis announced his retirement from the National team, Spain surpassed France, during last night’s first semifinal. This year France broke the tradition, in which the hosting nation were to reach the final phases of a major tournament. A new crowd record was set, at 26.922 spectators.
Partizan pobedom otvorio LE
Fudbaleri Partizana, uspešno su započeli svoj boravak u Ligi Evrope. Na stadionu JNA, pao je AZ Alkmar, rezultatom 3-2. Zdušna podrška najvernijih navijača, pomogla su crno-belima da upišu svoja prva tri poena. Iako malobrojni: “…Oni su naša snaga. To je crno-bela porodica koja je uz nas kada je teško. Hvala im na svemu” – poručio je Živko Živković, nakon završetka utakmice.

Nakon nestrpljivog čekanja, ove nedelje je ponovo tu. Liga šampiona. Kladioničari zadovoljno trljaju ruke, planira se strategija za praćenje što više prenosa, dok se u baštama kafića čuje otvaranje flaša, uz poneki povik posle promašene šanse za gol.
Sada, kada ste stvorili tu gotovo idealnu sliku, a u glavi vam odzvanja melodija himne, krećemo sa kratkim pregledom prve nedelje najvažnijeg klupskog fudbalskog takmičenja.
SRB – CZE (89-75) / Česi ipak ne tako Veseli
Another great victory for the Serbian National team on the Eurobasket. This time, against an expectedly tough opponent. The Czech team, lead by the 2,13m tall Jan Vesely, made sure there were no easy points. Their precision from the 6,75 border, as well as a strong defensive pace, gave team Serbia, a run for their money.

Tokom proteklog vikenda, odigrano je svih osam utakmica, uključujući i 149. “Večiti derbi”. Postignuto je ukupno 26 golova, a Zvezda se učvrstila na tabeli, sa 23 boda.
