Red Star wins the 150th Serbian Derby

Crvena zvezda savladala je Partizan u jubilarnom 150. Večitom derbiju, rezultatom 2:1. Pred punim stadionom JNA, crveno-beli su došli do rekordne prednosti na tabeli od čak 68 poena, čak 32 više od večitog rivala.

Red Star beats Partizan by 2:1 on an away match that marked the 150th anniversary of Serbia’s biggest derby. A world known rivalry has offered many interesting moments for the home and foreign fans on a chilly Saturday evening.

Pobeda Zapada i Kobijevo opraštanje od Ol stara

Kobi Brajant odigrao je svoje osamnaesto i poslednje Ol star takmičenje. U spektakularnom duelu između Istoka (u plavim dresovima) i Zapada (u crvenom), pobedila je Zapadna konferencija, rezultatom 196:173, uz poteze dostojne događaja ovakvog formata. 

In another spectacular weekend of basketball, the West has beat the East by 196:173 in what could have been a 200 point game for the Western Conference. A great victory for Kobe Bryant’s 18th and final All-Star appearance, in which he scored 10 points.

Novobeogradska Hala sportova, od danas zvanično nosi ime jednog od najznačajnijih košarkaških stručnjaka ovih prostora, Ranka Žeravice.

Belgrade’s Hala sportova gets renamed after one of Serbia’s most well known and respected basketball experts and coaches, Ranko Žeravica. The establisher of Serbian modern basketball that passed away last fall is now remembered at the most important location for the Former Yugoslav sport. Wise, patient and focused, through his work he changed the lives of many world famous athletes who also became his good friends.

Novak Đoković has proven himself unbeaten in Australia. In front of a packed Rod Laver Arena, he was able to beat Andy Murray by 3:0 (6:1, 7:5, 7:6), continuing his ruling as the Aussie Open champion.

U vrelini beogradske Hale Pionir, pala je Lokomotiva, rezultatom 80:66. Pred punom halom i dvadesetak ruskih navijača, crveno-beli nastavili su svoj put ka Top 8 fazi. Odličan tempo i stabilnost u ključnim momentima, nisu ostavili dileme o pobedniku večerašnjeg susreta.

Red Star beats Lokomotiv Kuban, in a packed Pionir Hall, by 80:66, moving closer to their goal of reaching the next phase in the Euroleague. A very strong playing style from the Red and Whites didn’t let their guests have a fighting chance. Tonight’s MVP was Quincey Miller, with a total of 24 points, while the guests had Victor Claver on their side and a total of 30 free throws.

Reprezentacija Srbije u vaterpolu, ostvarila je neverovatan uspeh, osvojivši treće evropsko zlato. Kruna je ostala u Beogradu, pred oko šesnaest hiljada ljudi u prepunoj beogradskoj Areni.

The Serbian National team has defended the European title. The gold medal is staying in Belgrade after the Dolphins have beat Montenegro by 10:8.  The bronze went to Hungary that beat Greece in the prior match.

Noćas je srpski centar ostvario svoj prvi dabl-dabl učinak u NBA ligi. Njegovi Sparsi su savladali Sanse, dok je Bobi zabeležio 17 poena i 13 skokova. 

S obzirom na poslednje partije, te sve veći status favorita među navijačima, očekuje se nastavak Severnoameričke “Bobinacije”.

Crvena zvezda je  zabeležila veoma važnu evroligašku pobedu protiv Unikahe, rezultatom 87:73. U prepunoj hali Pionir, crveno-beli su prikazali da je evropska trka za njih daleko od završene. Briljirali su Simonović, Gudurić, Cirbes.

An excellent night for Red Star, as they beat Unicaja Málaga in a packed Pionir Hall, by 87:73. A true team win, with Stefan Jović as the MVP with 15pts, 5as, 3rebs and a PIR of 24. The Belgrade Red and Whites seem ready to pursue the race for the next stage of the Euroleague.

Po svim očekivanjima, Srbija je u četvrtfinalu Evropskog prvenstva u vaterpolu. Nakon Francuza, pali su i Slovaci, rezultatom 10:5. U Areni ispunjenoj gotovo do poslednjeg mesta, Delfini su preskočili  i ovu stepenicu.

Rezultati EP u vaterpolu

Nakon ubedljivih pobeda muške selekcije Srbije, treba napomenuti i ostale rezultate. Naše vaterpolistkinje su zavladale Hrvatsku rezultatom 8:4 u odličnoj atmosferi Arene. Ruskinje, Španjolke i Italijanke nastavljaju ubedljivo, dok Turkinje nisu došle do svojih prvih poena.
