Na novoj funkciji.

Nekadašnji trener U20 reprezentacije srbije, vođa mladih svetskih prvaka u fudbalu, Veljko Paunović, ostaće deo Fudbalskog saveza Srbije. Ipak, ne kao trener već kao svojevrsni koordinator između Mlade i A-selekcije srpske reprezentacije. Reč je o poziciji kreiranoj u želji da se mladi i uspešni stručnjak zadrži u Savezu, nakon odlaska sa klupe, te iskazane želje da ne preuzme i Mladu reprezentaciju.

Za novog trenera mladih igrača do 21 godine, imenovan je Tomislav Sivić, nekadašnji trener Hajduka iz Kule i Voždovca. Sivić je izabran tokom vanrednog glasanja, i to većinom glasova. U Savezu ističu da novi strateg Mlade selekcije poseduje: “ogromnu energiju i motiv, a u smeru stvaranja nove ekipe i željenih vrhunskih rezultata”. Sivićev prvi test na trenerskoj poziciji biće osmog septembra (8.9.) u Gornjem Milanovcu, protiv selekcije Litvanije.

Veljko Paunović, the former coach of the U20 Serbian National Team, and the current World Champion will be staying as part of the Serbian Football Association. Not as a coach, but as a coordinator between the U21 team, and the A-team. This position was created in order to maintain the young and successful football strategist within the Association, after him refusing to take over the U21, or stay with the next U20 generation.

The new coach of the U21 players was named today, and after an emergency vote, Tomislav Sivić was chosen with a majority of votes. According to the press release by the Football Association, the new coach possesses: “a vast energy and motives to create a new team and the desired excellent results”.

His first test comes on September 8th, as the U21 start their new qualifying cycle, against Lithuania.

Nakon prvog dela dvomeča u Ligi Evrope između Sampdorije i Vojvodine, rezultat je 4-0 u korist srpskog kluba!

Tim Zlatomira Zagorčića ostvario je jednu od najznačajnijih pobeda u novijoj klupskoj istoriji, ostvarivši izuzetno ubedljivu pobedu protiv favorizovanog protivnika. Njihova složna igra u napadu i snažna odbrana, omogućili su ovaj izuzetni rezultat. Nakon 94 minuta igre, “Lale” su ubeležile četiri pogotka, i to:

Mirko Ivanić u 4. minutu, Aleksandar Stanisavljević u 49. minutu, i briljantni Ognjen Ožegović u 58., i 91. minutu, u okviru sudijske nadoknade. Poslednjim, zaista veoma lepim golom, samo je “zacementirao” prednost svoje ekipe, ostavljajući neznatne šanse italijanima za prolazak dalje.

Revanš meč se očekuje naredne subote, na stadionu “Karađorđe”, a publiku svakako očekuje nezapamćeni spektakl.

After the first leg of the Europa League match between Sampdoria, as the host, and Vojvodina, the result is 0-4 in favor of the Serbian team!

The players of Zlatomir Zagorčić have managed to write in one of the most important victories in the recent club history, against the Italians, that were considered as strong favorites. After 94 minutes of play, the goal scorers were Mirko Ivanić (4′), Aleksandar Stanisavljević (49′), and the brilliant Ognjen Ožegović, (58′, 91′).

The rematch is expected to be played next weekend, most likely on Saturday, at the “Karađorđe” stadium. The crowd is in its full right to expect a show to remember.

U trećem kolu kvalifikacija za Ligu Evrope, Partizan je ostvario rezultat od 1-1, protiv Steaue iz Bukurešta. Mlada ekipa Zorana Milinkovića, nije uspela da sa gostovanja u Bukureštu donese više od jednog boda. Srelac prvog gola, za vođstvo gostiju, bio je Miroslav Vulićević, uz asistenciju “zlatnog orlića”, Andrije Živkovića.

Crvena zvezda nije uspela da upiše pobedu u drugom kolu Jelen superlige. Rezultat na gostovanju u Gornjem Milanovcu, ostao je 0-0.

Ekipa Miodraga Božovića nije iskoristila šanse za upisivanje neophodnog pogotka, te su se u Beograd vratili sa samo jednim bodom. Propuštene šanse su obeležile ovaj meč, s obizrom na to da je i Metalac imao prilika za vođstvo i pobedu, ali je ekipa bila neprecizna u ključnim situacijama.

S druge strane, u Beogradu je bilo golova. Gradski derbi između Čukaričkog i Rada završen je rezultatom 1-1. Oba gola su postignuta u prvom poluvremenu.

Još jedan remi drugog kola Superlige bio je u meču Vojvodina – Radnik Surdulica. Ukupno 2-2, nakon početnog vođstva od 2-1 za goste iz Surdulice.

Partizan je jedini nosilac ubedljive pobede, nakon rezultata od 6-0 protiv ekipe Jagodine.

The young Serbian midfielder, and U20 World champion will be signing a contract for one of the most well known teams of the Serie A.  After talks with teams, such as Lazio, it was decided that Fiorentina’s offer was better for the player, who will be signing a five year long contract.

This is an important step for this 20 year-old talent, who has started a successful career in the Serbian Vojvodina, and then went onto the international market during the past summer, in Genk.

He scored 4 goals in 16 appearances for Vojvodina, and 5 goals in 24 games for Genk.

Fiorentina will be playing in the Europa League this season, which will be an important step in the career development of the player. Milinković Savić will also have the support of his future teammates, coming from the former Yugoslavian region, such as Tomović, Rebić, Bakić and Iličić.

The final price of the transfer is still unknown.

According to the sources at Il Messaggero, one of the most well known Serbian players, Nemanja Vidić, won’t be crossing over from Inter, to the neighbouring Roma.

Vidić, now 33 years-old, is the best paid player of the “Nerazzurri”. Despite that fact, he seems ready to leave, due to a supposed conflict with the coach, Roberto Mancini, that has left the former Manchester United captain sitting on the bench, during most of the past season.

The Serb has left the Premier League a legend, hoping to repeat the brilliant plays in Italy. With the season going by, it was obvious that the strong defender would have to look for a spot in the starting 11 some place else.  That fact was confirmed when Vidić wasn’t a part of this year’s Summer tour squad.

As the transfer window reaches its full swing, it’s only a matter of time when we find out the name of the new home for this well known centre-back.
