Prlainović, Filipović, the Pijetlović brothers, Aleksić and Mitrović – synonymous with the biggest successes of Serbian water polo and a beautiful constant for an entire generation who cherishes this sport. The back to back Olympic gold medalists retire from the National Team in favor of new energy for the squad.

Srpski vaterpolisti osvojili su srebro na Svetskom juniorskom prvenstvu u pravom meču za finale. Nakon peteraca Mađarska je bila bolja (16-15) i preuzela svetsku krunu. Uprkos porazu mladi Delfini pokazali su se kao dostojni naslednici sadašnje trofejne seniorske generacije.

Hungary beats Serbia in the Youth Worlds final after a penalty shootout and a tense tempo throughout the match. The players of coach Robert Covacs have entered the match with full force and managed to maintain focus to the very end. Nevertheless, the young players of Team Serbia have proven themselves as worthy heirs to the current A-team.

Srbija se plasirala u finale Svetskog prvenstva za juniore u Beogradu nakon pobede (11-7) nad iznenađenjem turnira – Holandijom. Boriće se za zlato protiv Mađarske.
